As a child of divorce, my family lived on the edge of poverty, and I became a high achiever to compensate. But eventually, my relationship struggles tore down everything Iād accomplished, and I wound up a divorced, single mom.
Then, both my parents and my brother were diagnosed with serious, chronic illnesses. And the new partner I had fallen madly in love with couldnāt prioritize me or stay faithful. And when he left, I miscarried what wouldāve been my second child.
