As a child of divorce, with two blended families, living on or below the poverty line, I bounced around from home to home, and state to state, relying on my intelligence and academic achievements to define my self worth.
Despite appearing put-together, I faced roller-coaster relationships and emotional turmoil. After a marriage and divorce, I found myself a broke, single mom, despite my career success as an author and art therapist —exactly what I swore I’d never be.
Then, I dove deep into attachment styles, and faced my "dark night of the soul." I became certified in Reiki, hypnotherapy, EFT Tapping, and received mentorship with powerful energy healers. This helped me connect to Spirit, and attract a loving, secure husband, igniting my passion to help others.

Nope! Whether you’re single, dating, in a long-term partnership, or unsure where you stand, this course helps you understand your attachment style, express your needs with confidence, and build secure connections—starting with yourself. Many students join to prepare for future relationships or heal from past ones.
Life happens! We’ll set up your 9-week schedule together, and if you need to move a session, I’ll do my best to accommodate. I just ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid forfeiting the session.
Coaching is a mentor-student relationship rooted in psychoeducation and experiential learning. In the Anxious Attachment 101 coaching experience, I act as a guide and facilitator—supporting you through a structured curriculum that helps integrate new insights, somatic awareness, and self-reflection into your day-to-day life. The focus is present-oriented, forward-moving, and anchored in practices that help you shift attachment patterns through embodied and creative engagement.
Psychotherapy, on the other hand, involves the clinical assessment of diagnostic concerns, tracking symptomology, and developing a therapeutic rapport in which the therapist becomes a participant in emotional projections and psychodynamic processing. It’s best suited for individuals needing support with severe trauma processing, mood disorders, or complex mental health symptoms.
If deeper trauma content, clinical symptoms, or unresolved patterns arise during our work together, my role as your coach is to gently acknowledge them, set clear boundaries around what’s within our scope, and refer you to a qualified therapist for more specialized support.
This distinction is essential. As your coach, I hold a structured, supportive, present-focused space where you can grow through education, reflection, and embodied practices. If and when something deeper surfaces, I’ll help you navigate it with care—and ensure you get the right kind of support to meet it safely.
